Pricing depends on hair length, density and the amount of product used. You will get a quote before your appointment.
Spray Tanning
Christal offers spray tanning by appointment. It is booked as its own appointment, separate from any hair service.
She will match the shade to your skin tone and take it as light or as deep as you want it.
How long the appointment takes
Plan on about thirty minutes from start to finish. Give yourself a little room afterwards, since you will need to wait a while before your first shower.
How to get ready before you come in
Shower and exfoliate beforehand, and come in with clean skin. Skip lotion, oil, perfume, deodorant and makeup that day, because anything sitting on the skin can keep the tan from taking evenly.
What to wear to your appointment
Wear loose, dark clothing and open shoes so nothing rubs against your skin on the way home. Tight waistbands, bra straps and socks can leave marks in a fresh tan.
How to take care of it afterwards
Wait before your first shower, then rinse in cool water and pat yourself dry instead of rubbing. Moisturize every day and stay out of long hot baths, pools and hot tubs, and the colour will hold much longer.
Christal will go over pricing, timing and exactly how long to wait before your first shower when you call to book. If you have never had a spray tan before, tell her and she will walk you through all of it.

My passion for hair started in 1999 after graduating from James Albert School of Cosmetology. Since then, I’ve continued my education around the world, including the Dominican Republic and London, to bring the best techniques and creativity back to my clients.
I believe great hair starts with a consultation, creativity and attention to detail. My goal is to make you feel confident, beautiful and completely taken care of—every single time.

Park in the Pacific City structure and take the elevator to the M-100 level. Shear Lady Salon is Suite 307 inside Salon Republic. Text when you arrive and the door will be open for you.

Christal books every appointment herself, so the fastest way to get on her calendar is to call or send her a text. She will ask you a few questions about your hair, tell you what the service will cost, and hold your time.
Here is how to book your appointment.
It takes about two minutes.
- 1Call or text the salon at (949) 432-0908. Texting is usually the quickest way to reach her between clients.
- 2Tell her what you are looking for. A haircut, color, highlights, balayage, extensions, a smoothing treatment, or a consultation if you are not sure yet.
- 3Describe your hair. What you have now, what you want, and anything that has been done to it in the last year. This helps her set aside the right amount of time.
- 4Pick your day and time together. Christal will confirm the appointment and give you a price before you come in.
The salon is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Appointments only, so please reach out before coming in.
